As an undergraduate student of Psychology at the University of Chile, I have developed a lot of interest in Ethology, since the study of animals in their natural environments, in a situation of freedom or in laboratory conditions has fascinated me since I had the opportunity to work with the Professor Martial Beltrami.
I am studying my fourth semester of studies, and until now I have been able to be an assistant in the field of psychobiology twice and I have been deeply interested in experimental psychology.
In addition to this presentation, I am currently working with my tutor Juan Amaro in an investigation regarding the behavior of animals and their distinctive behavioral characteristics within specific groups.
For three semesters I am analyzing the behavior of papiones in the zoo of santiago. I have noticed very important findings that I have reported to my tutor and professor.
I intend to deepen this research considering samples of more zoos in the country.
In addition to all this I can include this research all my knowledge acquired so far from branches such as Statistics one and two, basic learning processes and neurophysiology.
I feel very committed to this topic and I hope you will consider me for the scholarship to which I am applying

CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME
The first thing that would change the system of the university would be the schedule of entry,
since I think it is very early and this hurts a lot to people who for example live far away. The few
hours of sleep affect our performance a lot. Regarding the faculty, the infrastructure seems good to me.
I would add more computers or computer rooms, since they are always missing and we must go to other faculties
to work on computers.
It would be great if there were more armchairs to rest during the windows.
Regarding the curriculum, in our career there are more chairs or electives that focus on a non-sexist
education or on promoting feminism. I consider it important and according to our social reality, to generate real changes,
education is a good step. Other thing that I would like to improve with more green areas, trees and flowers of many types
and cultivation areas, the campus is large so it would be great if each one had its own cultivation area. I think it's okay
about class hours, but the breaks between the blocks should be longer, since being in classes for an hour and a half in a
row is very tiring and you need a longer break to continue with the second block, in this way learning will be much better.
And what would definitely change or improve is the dining room of Facso. It's the worst on the entire campus!
There are no good products to buy, and the prices are very high. Also most of the time the system to receive "junaeb"
cards does not work and for many it is the only way to eat. That it all, bye.

An expert that I admire
Of all the people I know who are specialists in psychology, one of the most esteemedand admired is Margarita Borquez. Currently she is my Neurophysiology teacher, which despite being a very complex class within the race, thanks to Maga (her nickname)everything becomes simpler and more pleasant. She as a person is a very cute woman, understanding woman and is always willing to help her students. She tries very hard to teachus, and he should even get up at 4:00 a.m. just to be able to do classes on Tuesdays inthe morning. In spite of that he is always smiling and making us laugh. Maga was a studentAnother thing very characteristic of Maga is his metal style, despite being so adorable alwaysdressed with black, and metal accessories, and of course he listens to that kind of music. When you send us an email, at the end write the link of a metal band on youtube.of a teacher that I greatly appreciate, her name is Marcial Beltrami,
is an ethologist and was my professor of psychobiology, thanks to him Maga wanted to specialize in neurophysiology.

Graduate studies
When I graduate from my
career, I would like to do many things. First of all, perfect I in my career,
do a master’s degree and a doctorate.
But I could also study other
things that interest me, such as costume design, art, music, massage therapy,
etc.
The master and doctorate I
would like to be able to do them in another country. The country depends on my
specialization in psychology, for example if I were a psychoanalyst, I think I
would like to continue studying in France. But I’m still not sure about that,
maybe I’ll have it clearer in my third year of my career.
The way I would like to study
all these things is part-time course,
since at the same time I could work.
And also be able to perform my favorite
activities such as making my cosplays, playing instruments, drawing and
reading. It is because of the above that I would like to do music courses and
costume design, in order to be able to play viola and piano even better in my
spare time. Also I could make cosplays of better fabrics and with more details.
My ideal future is work in something related
with me career and at the same time that I make cosplays and clothes of style
harayuku for me and for sell.

My future job
I would like to work in the future on something related to my career.
I imagine working in a particular consultation.
I liked working outdoors, but I do not like it when there are a lot of people, I prefer work on my own.
I would like to travel around the world thanks to my work, and visit countries such as Ireland, Japan, Great Britain, Wales, etc. I find it interesting to be able to work in a university and be able to teach and research in the academy
Now I am studying psychology and I want to specialize in judicial or clinical psychology.
But also in the future I want to study massage therapy, costume design, arts and music.
Because they are things that I plan to do as hobbies,
for example costume design will help me to make my own cosplays.
I did not study any of those careers first because they do not have a lot of work
Something I would not like, is having to work with my family or with many people. Since in general I do not have a good relationship with them, and it is difficult for me to work in a group. In spite of that in the university I must do it.

Drugs
I really don't know a lot about drugs, just things that I've learned at school or from my friends. I know that some of them are more addictives than others and can damage us at a neurological level. But I also know that in some cases the marijuana can be very useful, like, for example, can help the people with cancer to handle the pain and the discomfort that comes with the illness and the treatment
The drugs that I know are legal in Chile, are the alcohol, nicotine and benzodiazepines. And by far the most populars are the first two that I mentioned earlier. In fact, they are also some of the most addictives and dangerous but are legal anyway. Personally I don't like neither of those, but a vast majority consumes them from an early age.
It is proved that in most of the countries where the marijuana is legal, the drug trafficking and the level of crimes related to drugs have lowered considerably and I think that's a really great argument to legalize it. Many people have told me that smoke marijuana can make you prove harder drugs, but I think that it isn't because the marijuana but the people and their choices.
In conclusion, i don't think that all drugs should be legal, because there are some of them really dangerous and if you abuse of them can even kill you. But i think that if some of them where legal, the levels of drug trafficking and crimes related to drugs would decrease.
